Our Programs
Since 2000, ArtWell has worked with hundreds of amazing partners including schools, libraries, diverse faith-based organizations, health and social-service providers, and community organizations to serve nearly 1,000 students per year across the Greater Philadelphia region.
Through writing, music, poetry, visual arts, storytelling, performance, spoken-word, and other art forms, students discuss personal and social issues, explore their emotions and identities, cultivate their creativity, and develop deeper understandings of who they are in relation to the world around them.
Upcoming Events
ArtWell’s Poetry and Art Show is officially underway! If you missed the opening reception on May 17th, you can still check out the exhibit! Imaginative artwork and poetry created by our K-12 students and Teaching Artists will be on display until May 27th.
We are also offering free workshops in the gallery space this week, including collaging, journaling, sketching, and poetry.
