Our Programs
Since 2000, ArtWell has worked with hundreds of amazing partners including schools, libraries, diverse faith-based organizations, health and social-service providers, and community organizations to serve nearly 1,000 students per year across the Greater Philadelphia region.
Through writing, music, poetry, visual arts, storytelling, performance, spoken-word, and other art forms, students discuss personal and social issues, explore their emotions and identities, cultivate their creativity, and develop deeper cultural understandings.
Upcoming Events
ArtWell will lead a creative art activity during the “Footballs Not Firearms” March and Rally on Tuesday, September 19th at 11:00AM-1:30PM (Rain dates: Sept. 20)! This is a police/youth/community event to end gun violence, and speakers will include representatives from the Philadelphia Eagles, the Philadelphia Police Department, and other local youth groups.
Come by Fairhill Square Park at 4th and Lehigh to march, rally, play football, enjoy food and drink, hear music by DJ Manny Frecks, and create collage artwork representing what PEACE means to you!
