ArtWell's fourth annual Poetry & Art Show kicked off with an opening reception that celebrated our core value of imagination. It featured powerful artwork by students, ArtWell Teaching Artists, board members, and staff, as well as captivating live performances. 

Self-care alone isn't enough in a time of economic instability, burnout, and widespread uncertainty. Written by Nella Rohan, this blog explores the urgent need for collective care—a practice rooted in mutual support, shared responsibility, and genuine leadership. Highlighting the gap between performative wellness and real support in nonprofit spaces, it also offers practical ways to recognize burnout and support colleagues without overextending. As ArtWell models a healthier way forward, this piece calls on all of us to reimagine the future of work with care at its center.

The Awaken Your Dreams Poetry & Art Show was our first in-person event in three years! Featuring poetry and art from students from Al-Aqsa Islamic Academy, C.C.A. Baldi Middle School, Emlen Elementary School, George W Nebinger School, John H. Taggart School, Parkway Northwest High School, and Saint Francis de Sales School, this exhibition aimed to uplift the voices and visions of our incredible students.
