Kelly Wilson
Kelly Wilson is a strategic leader with a cross-sector background in corporate consulting and K–12 education, driven by a lifelong commitment to meaningful learning. She began her career at Accenture, where she supported Fortune 500 clients in business process optimization and strategic planning. Her experience in high-stakes consultancy shaped her ability to lead complex initiatives and align diverse teams toward measurable outcomes.
With deep roots in education and a belief in equitable, forward-thinking learning environments, Kelly transitioned to academic leadership after teaching mathematics. As Director of Academic Programs at Xavier College Preparatory in California, she oversaw curriculum development and faculty professional learning. She was later awarded a Walton Foundation Fellowship, earning a Master’s in Education at High Tech High GSE with a focus on project-based learning and instructional innovation.
Kelly became the inaugural Director of Innovative and Entrepreneurial Programs at Severn School in Maryland, where she launched a design thinking curriculum rooted in engineering and technology. She subsequently served as their Director of Studies, leading DEI initiatives, sustainability integration, and pedagogical advancement through the Summer Institute.
Currently serving as Head of Operations at YSC Academy, a pioneering school for elite student-athletes, Kelly applies her corporate and educational leadership to strengthen systems, elevate faculty practice, and integrate academics with high-performance athletics. Kelly is also a visual artist and believes in the transformative power of creativity to build community, amplify youth voice, and imagine just futures.
