Susan Dubow, Esq.,
Vice Chair

Sue is a retired healthcare attorney and current nonprofit leader who has spent the last 30 years committed to improving access to education, healthcare services, and philanthropy. As a partner in a boutique health law firm, Sue represented physician groups, health systems, and non-profit health foundations. After 20 years, Sue retired from her law practice to raise her three daughters and seized the opportunity to pursue her passion for advocacy, mentorship, and community engagement. Sue has served in many volunteer and leadership roles in nonprofit organizations, including as a Vice President for G-Pact, where she advocated for increased awareness of Gastroparesis and access to better treatment alternatives, as a mentor for high school students at Philadelphia High School for Girls through Women of Tomorrow and as Programs Chair, Board Member, and President of Impact100 Philadelphia. During her tenure as Impact 100 President, Sue’s proudest accomplishment was establishing a fellowship program for young women designed to reduce the financial barriers to membership, increase opportunities for young women in philanthropy, and provide mentorship opportunities.

Sue was introduced to Artwell and its founder Susan Teegen when it received a $100,000 Impact100 grant. Artwell’s mission of empowering and healing students through arts education resonated with Sue; she enthusiastically joined the Artwell Board in 2019.
