In the spirit of one of ArtWell’s six strategic imperatives–Learning Together, our Executive Director, Malia Gilbert Neal, pioneered ArtWell’s first-ever book club: ReadingWell. We recently had our inaugural ReadingWell discussion to unpack the first chapter of “Your Brain on Art: How the Arts Transform Us” by Susan Magsamen and Ivy Ross.

The second-annual Awaken Your Dreams Poetry and Art Show kicked off with an opening reception on June 2nd followed by a week-long exhibition at 1040 Creative! The show aimed to uplift the voices and visions of our incredible students.

Baldi Middle School, Emlen Elementary School, George W Nebinger School, John H.
