Our Programs
Since 2000, ArtWell has worked with hundreds of amazing partners including schools, libraries, diverse faith-based organizations, health and social-service providers, and community organizations to serve nearly 1,500 students per year across the Greater Philadelphia region.
Through writing, music, poetry, visual arts, storytelling, performance, spoken-word, and other art forms, students discuss personal and social issues, explore their emotions and identities, cultivate their creativity, and develop deeper cultural understandings.
Awaken Your Dreams Poetry and Art Show
FREE exhibition of student art and live performances focused on healing
The Awaken Your Dreams Poetry and Art Show is back for its third and best year yet! Join us on May 18th at 4:00PM-7:00PM to experience artwork and poetry created by K-12 students and Teaching Artists throughout the school year, centered on the theme of healing (one of ArtWell’s six core values).
Come by The Galleries at Moore College of Art and Design, a vibrant gallery in Logan Square, to support our students’ creativity while delighting in their artistic works. Not only will attendees be able to eat, mingle, and connect with each other in a healing-centered space, but they will also experience live performances by students and feature poet and former Artwell Teaching Artist, LindoYes.
